I should rather say good night, because it's Midnight as I am writing.
No - good morning! is in order: yesterday I decided to try how would it to be a morning person. Which didn't seem to be an option for me: singers, musicians and other such artsy types are known to work and be alive mostly in the late hours.
After about 30 years of being a night owl (it was all the fault of my dance trainings way back then!), I wanna see now for a change, how it is to be a morning lark. As larks do sing much more beautifully than owls, I thought it could fit me... And one can hear and read so much about all the benefits of rising early, that it might very well be worth to get into that habit. Being happy, healthy and wealthy does appeal to me somehow.
A a matter of fact, I do like to get up early: all those exceptional times when I have managed to do that (on my own, and not because I had to, for my work), I enjoyed what I could accomplish in the long day. But night have their magic, too...
Now I will get up for 3 weeks every day very early, in the same time, and see how it works out for me. The first day was pretty good, despite of not much more than 4 hours of sleep.

Before the sun rose (okay, that is late here in Sweden, this time of the year: I took the photo at 8:33am), and well before I would wake up normally, I already:
- did the laundry,
- did a little bit of cleaning,
- did a little bit of exercises,
- cooked my lunch,
- listened to two lectures (1 hour each),
- answered an important email,
- looked at my short, mid and long term goals,
- did some networking in a club with a few American fellows who were still up.
This still feels terrific!
Then I went on with my day as usual (okay, I did have a 35-40 min. nap), and now I am still kicking, although I know it would be time to hit the pillow.
Let's see how it goes after a few days and weeks, can I become a lark?
Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra (100 Violins) plays Dinicu's Ciocarlia (The Lark) - listen to Part 2 as well!
I am curious: Are you a morning or a night person? And what do you like about that? (When you leave a comment, your email address will not show, so go ahead)
